I have a question to the experts in uniforms of waffen ss,in the web site of KAI WINKLER it has a uniform of the SS-OBERGRUPPENFÜHRER and Knight`s Cross holder KURT von GOTTBERG ,This ensemble also includes a Detlef Niemann expertise.
it is a correct uniform all and original one?
I ask this so that he is tunic that is seen very not very often of being original and I do not understand as it has not been sold already,I imagine that the price to be very high and few can be bought one tunic unico but that opinion gives the experts me of ss my and to other collectors thanks in advance.

Kia’s photos are bullet proof. I don’t thinks there is anyway to download them anymore. I can’t comment on the tunic, as SS is not my area but I do love reading the treads though. Sometimes it is like reading a good detective novel. Anyway, good or bad the collar tabs look identical to the ones that were being discussed and offered by Craig Gottlieb.

I could be wrong but the eagle does not appear to me like it has been on the uniform for 60 odd years. It also appears to have aged more than the rest of the tunic. Just my opinion of course.

A small correction. This uniform does NOT include my expertise, but if you wish you can have one,as I have made one for Kai.
But by now it looks as if Kai is not using it.

I dont know where this uniform came from but back in 1986-87 an American Auction, Manions, sold von Gottbergs entire uniform.I remember it being quite worn with oxidized insignias and more than a few moth nips. Dont know where it is now.

You're correct Robert... not exact but in the same category, reproductions. I would pass on this piece in a heartbeat.
